Foster
Allen
Foster is a serious George Francis Train enthusiast. George Francis
Train was, among other things, the real Phileas Fogg: capitalist,
communist, royalist, revolutionary, genius, lunatic, visionary
prophet, pacifist, warmonger, presidential aspirant, and later,
candidate for dictator of the United States, railroad pioneer,
writer, and, ultimately, an eccentric.
Around
the World with Citizen Train chronicles Train’s amazing
life and times, including the story of how he was falsely accused
of stealing $2 million during the gold rush in Australia and then
offered the presidency of the Australian Republic. Around
the World with Citizen Train is a wonderful tale of excitement
and adventure.
Allen
Foster lives in County Kildare. He is a full time writer; he is
also a qualified chartered surveyor. Around the World with
Citizen Train is his first book.
