Ailbhe MacShamhráin

Ailbhe MacShamhráin is a graduate of University College Dublin and holds a doctorate from Trinity College Dublin, where he subsequently taught. He continued his career in the academic sphere by lecturing on the Medieval Irish Studies Programme at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. He has published widely on themes of early and medieval Irish history and settlement.
