John Burke

John Burke is Crime Correspondent for The Sunday Business Post. Previously he was Crime
Correspondent for the Sunday Tribune covering News and Current Affairs since joining the newspaper in 2002. In 2005 he was a recipient at the Law Society of Ireland Justice Media Awards for legal reporting. He was educated at Saint Rynagh's Community College in Banagher, County Offaly and holds an honours undergraduate degree in journalism from Dublin City University. A native of east Galway, he now lives in Dublin.

Homicide Murders and Manslaughter in 21st Century Ireland is his first book for Merlin Publishing.
