Cora
Harrison
Cora
Harrison is one of Wolfhound’s most popular children’s
authors. She taught primary-school children in England for twenty-five
years before moving to a small farm in Kilfenora, Co. Clare. The
farm includes an Iron Age fort, with the remains of a small castle
inside it, and the mysterious atmosphere of this ancient place
gave Cora the idea for a series of historical novels tracing the
survival of the ringfort through the centuries.
Cora
Harrison and her two-year-old German shepherd Wolf love to sit
on the bank that surrounds the Iron Age fort at Drumshee. Wolf
was about the size of a teddy bear when he arrived but now he
is a massive dog.
Cora’s
husband also has a German shepherd called Karla. The dogs have
a great time playing in the fields and woods beside the cottage.
Cora has only lived at Drumshee for a few years but she loves
it more than any other place she has ever lived in her whole life.
The
Drumshee Series – This series brings history to life from
the 1st Century BC to 20th Century AD.
Experience
different times and adventures with the children who live in Drumshee
through the centuries.
