John Newman

John Newman, like his co-author and friend Jim Halligan, loves children and is a primary school teacher. A born story teller John regularly entertains his kids with his vivid imagination. He decided to try his hand at writing some of these crazy stories down and hijacked his friend Jim to help him in this endeavour.

Their first publication was a science story, they then moved into nature, and beyond. Writing stories he released was fun. Seeing Red, Fowl Play and Fowl Deeds are all wonderfully funny children’s books published by Wolfhound Press.

He currently lives in County Wicklow with his wife and children.
