Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick

Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick is a children’s writer and illustrator. Her picture books are published world-wide in several languages and have won numerous awards, including a Bisto award for Izzy and Skunk in 2001. She has also illustrated Dear Toothfairy for Harper Collins USA, which was another great success.

At the end of 2002 she travelled to Australia to do a writer’s residency in the Blue Mountains and met Bower Birds, Dingoes and Cassowaries along the way!

Marie-Lousie is the author of countless highly successful children’s publications including; An Chanail, The Sleeping Giant, The Long March, Izzy and Skunk, I’m a Tiger Too and You Me and The Big Blue Sea.

A new paperback edition of the much loved Sleeping Giant was recently released.
