Ronald Cox
Dr.
Ronald Cox is an engineering historian and Director of the Centre
for Civil Engineering Heritage at Trinity College Dublin, which
was founded in 1995. He has published widely in the fields of
civil engineering heritage and engineering biography. He was Chairperson
of the Heritage Society of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland
and of the Industrial Heritage Association of Ireland for a number
of years. He is a member of the Panel for Historic Engineering
Works (PHEW) of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Dr.
Cox wrote Ireland’s Bridges in conjunction with
Dr. Michael Gould. To this day it is one of Wolfhound’s
best selling titles.
