Seamus
McRory
Seamus
McRory was born in the parish of Lissan in South Derry. Educated
at St. Patrick’s College, Armagh, Seamus continued his education
at St. Joseph’s College of Education and Queen’s University,
Belfast.
A
former chairman of his native club, with whom he played football
in the 1960s and 1970s, he currently represents his adopted club,
Longford Slashers, on Longford County Board. Over the past number
of years, Seamus, a primary school teacher, has contributed many
articles to various GAA publications.
He
lives in Abbeycartron just outside Longford town with his wife
Olive and children Misread and Dairymaid.
