Weeshie Fogarty

Weeshie Fogarty has played Minor, Junior and Senior Football for Kerry and has been involved in all facets of his club, Killarney Legion. He was a psychiatric nurse in St. Finan’s Hospital for 38 years. Now a sports presenter, analyst and reporter with Radio Kerry, Weeshie has been short-listed for the prestigious PPI sports broadcaster of the year award for the past two years. His McNamee award-winning sports programme Terrace Talk, is now in its 10th year.

Dr Eamonn O’Sullivan A Man Before His Time by Weeshie is a tribute to the legendary Gaelic football trainer Dr. Eamonn O’Sullivan (published by Merlin, under the imprint of Wolfhound Press, in Spring 2007).
