Melody
of Nora It
is 1922. The Civil War has thrown Ireland in to turmoil. Nora
wrenched away from her family and sent to relatives in Tipperary,
feels as if everything she knows is falling to pieces –
and she hates it. She vows never to play the piano again.But then
she meets Alec, the strange piano-player with the haunting melody;
she discovers the mystery surrounding her black-sheep uncle Jack;
she is enthralled by the magic of the Stella Cinema. And when
these threads come together, Nora finds herself forced to play
as unexpected part in the unfolding conflicts of her time.
