Getting
Published
We
are always very interested in receiving proposals from new authors,
particularly for books dealing with true crime, music, sports,
lifestyle, politics, biography and Irish historical interest.
All
material submitted will be read by our editors/readers and we
will do our best to get back to you within three months, though
backlogs do occur from time to time. Unfortunately due to the
quantity of manuscripts we receive we are not able to enter into
correspondence about individual submissions. We do not accept
submissions delivered in person.
Read
the guidelines below to get an idea of our submission procedure.
It is important to remember that we do have to be selective about
accepting unsolicited material for publication.
SUBMISSIONS
Merlin Publishing and Wolfhound Press welcome submissions for
non-fiction titles.
We
will not be publishing any children’s fiction or general
fiction titles for the foreseeable future.
As
we don’t want to waste any author’s time please do
not submit any material for children’s or adult fiction
titles as we cannot always guarantee that it will be returned
to you.
Proposals
should be sent to the Editorial Manager, Aoife Barrett by:
(1) email to aoife@merlin.ie
(2) post to Merlin Publishing, Newmarket Hall, Cork Street, Dublin
8, Ireland

It’s
important to remember that while every reasonable care will be
taken of material in the publisher’s possession, responsibility
cannot be accepted if material is lost or damaged. Never send
the original copy of the typescript or any illustrations. All
submissions are sent at the sender’s risk. No obligation
of any nature will arise unless and until a formal contract has
been entered into by both Merlin Publishing and the prospective
